Here is a non-exhaustive list of research grants available to researchers with a focus on new programs and sporadic opportunities related to road safety or allowing the submission of projects in road safety. The general programs of the various granting agencies are known to researchers and are not included in this list. Please note that institutions may have different internal deadlines than the information presented here. Amount:  Up to $40,000, over a period of 18 months

Intersectoral AUDACE Program, fall 2020
Amount:  Up to $100,000, over a period of 12 months, may be spread over 24 months

Trailblazer Award in Population and Public Health Research - 2018 contest
Amount: Maximum $12,500 for each category (early, mid and senior career)
Deadline: January 2, 2018 

Catalyst Grant: Population Health Intervention Research on Legalization of Cannabis
Amount:  Maximum $100,000, up to 1 year
Deadline:  August 22, 2017 

Programme d'aide financière du Fonds de la sécurité routière

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES

  • CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF ROAD SAFETY PROFESSIONALS (CARSP)

CARSP is currently seeking nominations to fill 12 Board Director positions for its Board. Nominations are only accepted by current CARSP members, but self-nominations are permitted. The deadline for nominations is April 27, 2021.

CARSP is also seeking nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Award for Road Safety to  be awarded at the CARSP-PRI 2021 Joint Virtual Conference. Nominations are only accepted from current CARSP members (including self-nominations). Nomination deadline is May 12, 2021.

  • SWANSEA UNIVERSITY
