  • Graduate Scholarship

The Network launches its annual Graduate Scholarship Competition for Master's and PhD students. The scholarship is intended to support students who plan to make an initial submission of their thesis or dissertation by August 31, 2020 and who do not have support from other scholarships during the period of the RRSR scholarship.
Amount: masters - $3,500; doctorate - $5,000

  • Symposiums

The Network wishes to support the students in order to promote their presentation at a national or international congress or symposium.
Amount: maximum $1,000

  • Student Awards

The Network is pursuing its annual student awards competition for Master's, PhD and postdoctoral students. These awards are to be used as leverage by students, either through the application of provincial or federal scholarships of excellence (Option A, full coverage of the scholarship by the RRSR), or 50% by the RRSR and 50% by the student supervisor's research fund (Option B)
Amount: master's - $4,000; doctorate - $5,000; postdoctorate - $7,500

The Network wishes to highlight the excellence of students in the publication of their work.
Amount: 1st prize - $1,500; 2nd - $1,000; 3rd - $500

  • Posters

This activity allows students to share their research as part of their studies with a poster at the annual Network Symposium held in May each year.

OTHER CONTESTS IN ROAD SAFETY/ OFFERS

  • CARSP-ACPSER/PRI  2020 JOINT CONFERENCE
  • Réseau's contest
    Students and postdoctoral researchers were invited to submit a proposal for the CARSP-ACPSER/PRI 2020 Joint Conference. The Réseau will offer a scholarship to students whose proposal is accepted to cover the $ 300 registration fee (early bird rate until April 6, 2020). Don't forget to send your proof of submission in order to participate!

    Procedure for obtaining the scholarship: i) send the abstract to Lidia after submission; ii) send Lidia the email accepting the abstract. Further information on how to obtain the scholarship will then be sent to the students whose summary has been selected by the conference evaluation committee. The scholarship will be paid in the form of a refund of the registration. Deadline to submit your proof of submission to Lidia: February 15, 2020.

    Conference's contest
    Students have three ways to showcase their work on a road safety topic: 1) Student Paper Competition; 2) CARSP - Vehicle Safety Enhancement Special Student Award; 3) Student Poster Competition.
